WOAT took bluegrass to the new Smalls club in york and rocked it up a bit with an electric set at the end. Ponie show and Horsecop took the stage as well. Fun night and then the LCB showed up. Every one around me was wearing badges. I only had the camera out for part of the acoustic set though

The Boys hopped on the stage with their instruments and got all miked up by veteran sound guy Gene for a killer high energy couple sets at this great little pub nestled across the railroad tracks from the mighty Susquehanna. They sound was great, food was tasty, and the beers scrumptious.

Such an intimate venue for some really mellow and passionate music. They set up in the backroom with Ben Brittan first followed by Ponieheart and Peter and the Wolf as a three piece. Quite splendid.

Boat People brought the Cobbs to town for a rockin show with the bear and the wolf and house of fire. got some pics with erich's camera of the Cobbs rockin' set.

Built to Spill was sposed to go on tour right after they released their sweet new album but apparantly doug marsh had some health problems and the tour got postponed till this september date. I got my hands on neighbor alicia's tix since she couldn't make it out to pittsburgh for the show and took andrew with. this venue is rockin and i look forward to seein more great shows there. spectacular performance.

Frank Black came to the Chameleon Club solo. It was splendid. He played a superb mix of pixies tunes and solo tunes. It was the first time i've been to the chameleon club when they had seats. He left the stage for several minutes at the end of the set before his wife ran out and got him for the encore. He ended the night with a moving solo rendition of "where is my mind."
